What is Fiesta?

San Antonio is a city full of diverse cultures and rich heritage. Fiesta began in 1891 as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. What started as a one-day parade has now transformed into a city-wide celebration of San Antonio’s strong culture.
Celebrate with us from April 20-30, 2023!
Throughout Fiesta, there are many unique events to visit and explore. To plan your Fiesta celebration, visit the Official Fiesta Calendar. Looking for a more fine-tuned way to experience Fiesta? Here are our curated recommendations on what to do during Fiesta!
